Radiant City

Radiant City was created for a the exhibit  Keith Haring: Journey of the Radiant Baby at the Reading Public Museum.  It was a temporary piece of collaborative art that involved nearly four hundred students from around Berks County.  Students learned about the life and artwork of Haring and make a small personal drawing inspired by his work that was included in the piece.

About the Project

Inspired by the New York City Subway, where Haring first gain notoriety for his artwork, Radiant City features the original drawings of nearly four-hundred art students from eleven Berks County High Schools.  The drawings are embedded within a network of mirrored pathways running beneath a marker drawn city.
