About the Project
During a six-week summer program, a core group of students became facilitators, helping younger and older students participate in the mural studio. The mural included both painted and glass mosaic elements.
The imagery explores drinking water, cleansing, plant growth, the local watershed, marine life, and the water cycle, turning a school cafeteria into a visual lesson about the importance and sustainability of this shared resource.
