About the Project

Stonecliffe Recreation Area sits along the Tulpehocken Creek and is a great resource for the community. The park pavilion had been the site of vandalism multiple times, so the idea of a mural was approached by many with skepticism. The local youth of Glenside were involved in the painting of the pavilion over a series of community paint events. This has proven to be a good anti-graffiti method. After 10 years, the walls show more signs of weather damage than anything else.
