Clique began as a mural of overlapping circles and later evolved with the building around it. When the property became the West Reading Motor Club, the design was reimagined with painted tires and real hubcaps that connect the artwork to the site’s automotive history.

About the Project
Public Art Workshop students originally painted the mural in 2015, leaving areas of exposed block as part of its raw visual texture. During a later renovation, changes to the building interrupted portions of the original composition. Instead of removing the mural, the new owners embraced it, and the circular forms were adapted into an automotive theme that gave the work a second life.
