What Moves You? surrounds a school stairway with colorful three-dimensional mosaic forms created under the guidance of local artist Nancey Seghetti. The installation was designed to lift students’ spirits as they move through an ordinary part of their daily routine.

Public Art Workshop students first learned glass mosaic techniques from Seghetti, then expanded her whimsical imagery into carved foam reliefs covered with mosaic. Installed around a main staircase at Wyomissing Area Jr.-Sr. High School, the pieces create an immersive environment that changes as students travel up and down the stairs.
